March 2016 Racer of the Month Award

Dear members,

Please join me in congratulating K ate Wymbs and Ryder Philips as the respective womens and mens recipients of the March 2016 Racer of the Month Award p/b Seth Davidson Law. Kate and Ryder each won $200, made possible by a year-long 2016 financial sponsorship commitment from Seth and his law firm.

Kate Wymbs proved that trackies can climb too by sweeping the Womens 3/4 Chuck Pontius Omnium, first with a win at the very hilly Castaic Lake Road Race and then following up with the win the next day at the Chuck Pontius Criterium. She then capped off the month with her Cat 2 upgrade!

Ryder Philips repeated his wins from February by winning round two of the Junior Track series Omnium, sweeping all 3 events (with a 19 rider field) as well as again winning the Jurupa Valley Criterium in the 13-14 age group. And he did this by racing on the track on Saturday night and the criterium just hours later Sunday morning!
