Every Saturday (except the last Saturday of the month), La Grange women roll out together for a ride that’s social in pace, strong in community, and open to all female-identifying cyclists—members and guests alike.

These rides were created to grow our women’s cycling community and offer a space where connection, consistency, and fun take priority over watts or race results. We rotate through a series of routes that highlight some of LA’s most scenic and rideable terrain—from oceanfront spin-outs to canyon climbs to espresso-looped neighborhood rolls.

Pace & Format

Expect a steady social pace—typically 16–18mph on flats—with regroups at key points. We stay together, we support each other, and no one gets left behind. Rides usually range from 25–40 miles, depending on the route.

We do expect riders to be familiar with road cycling, comfortable riding clipped-in, and to have some climbing experience. If you’re newer to group rides but meet that baseline, this is a welcoming place to build confidence.

Start Time & Location

We roll at 8:00am on Saturdays, typically from rotating Westside locations. Occasionally, we’ll organize drive-to-start rides to mix it up and explore new roads—like our recent Tour de Lakes loop in the Santa Monica Mountains. Weekly ride info is posted in the LG Women’s WhatsApp group (a member benefit), the club Strava page, or follow us on Instagram for weekly ride details. Not a member yet? No problem—DM or email us to get looped in.

What to Expect

  • Laughter and sweat in equal measure

  • An inclusive, supportive group dynamic

  • Post-ride hangs (often involving coffee, pastries, ice cream, wine, or sometimes all of the above)

  • A growing community of badass women who ride hard and show up for each other

Note: The women’s ride takes a break on the last Saturday of each month when La Grange hosts the LG50, a club-wide community ride. We encourage women to join the LG50 if you’re comfortable riding at a quicker clip (~18–20mph average) with some climbs.

Want to Join Us?

If you’re a woman who rides—or wants to start—we’d love to meet you. These rides are a great way to get to know the growing La Grange women’s community, and many of our new members found the club through this very ride.
