Criteria for Assigning Marshals
to the Start/Finish Line Area

The following criteria will be used to determine the order of priority (from lowest to highest) for course marshal volunteers who wish to be assigned to the start/finish line area on Stocker Street:
(1) |
Volunteers who sign up before May 31, 2006; |
(2) |
Volunteers who sign up for and work more than one shift (which may include set-up or breakdown); |
(3) |
Volunteers who donate one or more primes with a total value of at least $100; |
(4) |
Volunteers who are sponsors of the Cedars-Sinai Grand Prix. |
Please realize that EVERY course marshal location is important. An accident could happen anywhere, and the more remote the location, the more the racers appreciate your presence and your cheers. The marshals at the campus entrance have probably the most important location of all, not only because these marshals are the first to greet our visitors, but also because the entrance is the critical spot for preventing cars from getting on the race course. So consider working at the entrance to be an honor!
