SUPERSIX
TECHNOLOGY
- High
modulus uni-directional full carbon fibre frame. Proprietary
lay-up process exclusive to Cannondale.
- Monocoque
carbon front triangle designed for maximum lateral rigidity.
- Oversized
one-piece bottom bracket and chain stay, co-molded to
front triangle, eliminating overlap joints/additional
weight.
- Oversized
tapered head tube. Trapezoid/tapered shape uses less material
without sacrificing performance.
- Optimized
tube profiling. Top tube designed for superior lateral
stiffness. Down tube optimized for torsional stiffness.
- Carbon
down tube lay-up provides vibration damping to eliminate
road buzz and enhance comfort.
- Thinline
carbon hourglass seatstays provide vertical compliance
for comfort with optimal lateral rigidity.
- Expanded
chain stay profile allows for thinner wall thicknesses
with maximum power transfer. Asymmetrical shape and layup
dependent on chain and axle loads.
- Overall
frame weight 1,050g (56cm including paint and derailleur
hanger).
- 340g
full carbon fork (including drop-outs). Unique tapered
steerer for precision tracking, 1.5” diameter at
fork crown for increased stiffness.
